A Note About Website Availability

Titles listed on our website are not necessarily in stock at our physical storefront. If a book says "usually ships in 1-5 days," that means it should be available at our distributor's warehouses, but it does not indicate whether we have the book in stock at the shop. We have some lists on our home page of books that are usually on the shelves, but those are manually updated by us. It is not currently possible for us to manually update every title on the site with its in-store availability. The fastest way to check on a title or two is to give us a call at 617-734-7323. If you have a longer list, or if you have a little more time to wait for a response, send us an email or place an online order. Thank you for understanding!

  1. Where are you located?
    • 237 Washington Street, Brookline, MA 02445
  2. Where do I park?
    • There is limited metered street parking available on Washington Street as well as other surrounding streets. 
  3. What are your hours?
    • Tuesday–Saturday 11 am–5 pm
  4. How do I contact you?

ORDER QUESTIONS

 

  1. If I find a book on your site, does that mean it's currently in stock at your store?
    • Not necessarily. If your order is time sensitive, please call us at 617-734-7323 to confirm availability.
  2. I received a confirmation e-mail. Does this mean that my order is ready to be picked up or has been shipped?
    • No. This just means that we've received your order. You will be contacted when your order has shipped or is ready to be picked up.
  3. When will I get my book(s)?
    • For in stock orders, we strive to ship them within 3 business days and delivery time depends on the method of shipping selected. For orders with out of stock items, we will provide an estimated date of shipment.
  4. What if I need to return something?
    • Please review our return policies and contact us with any further questions.
  5. What forms of payment do you accept?
    • We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), as well as Google and Apple Pay
  6. How can I check the status of my order?
    • Log in and select 'My Account and Orders." A list of all orders and their current status is provided.
